1. SHOPPING ON THE WEBSITE

Agreements and orders on our website are made in the following language: Danish. When you place an order on our website, you accept our terms and conditions.

All prices on MIIEGO's website include 25% Danish VAT, taxes and duties. Prices are current prices in DKK. Prices may vary due to product availability, price changes, and errors.

Please note that customers outside the EU are subject to VAT, taxes, etc. in their own country when they receive the goods. In case of customs charges in countries outside the EU, the recipient is responsible for payment. You must be at least 18 years old to shop on our website.

We always try to ensure that all prices are correct, but errors can occur. If we discover errors in the order you have placed, we will contact you as soon as possible. You then have two options:
· 1. Re-confirm your order at the correct price, or
· 2: Cancel your order. If we cannot get in touch with you, the order will be treated as cancelled. If you choose to cancel your order yourself, but it has been paid, we will refund the full amount.

On our website, you can buy wireless headphones and speakers as well as accessories for sports, e.g. running, fitness and other training.

2. PAYMENT

On MIIEGO.com you can pay with the following:

Dankort, MobilePay and various international debit/credit cards.

The amount will not be debited from your card until the goods are dispatched from our warehouse. An amount greater than what you have approved can never be debited.

3. PRICE GUARANTEE

At MIIEGO, as a customer, you should feel secure before, during and after your purchase. We want satisfied customers. Therefore, we also offer you a Price Guarantee on all our products.

If you find an identical item that you purchased on www.miiego.dk at a cheaper price elsewhere within 30 days of your purchase, we will refund the price difference via a gift voucher. You can use the gift voucher on www.miiego.dk.

Conditions for Price Guarantee:

• The claim for Price Guarantee must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase or delivery.
• The price to be matched must be valid at the time the Price Guarantee claim is made.
• You must be able to provide proof of purchase from MIIEGO.
• The item must be documented as being in stock and available for purchase from a retailer with a Danish address and a registered Danish CVR number. The item's price must include shipping.
• The Price Guarantee can only be used once per purchase.

Exceptions:

• Items that are not identical are not covered by the Price Guarantee. It must be the same model and the same technical specifications, the same color, the same dimensions, the same accessories, the same content, etc. I.e. a 100% identical item.
• The Price Guarantee does not cover remaining stock, introductory offers, demo, outlet and display models, queue offers, Black Friday special offers, club and member offers, special orders or special prices offered to newsletter subscribers and similar.
• The Price Guarantee does not cover services such as delivery, special shipping offers, etc.
• The Price Guarantee only applies to private purchases including VAT and cannot be combined with other discounts.

4. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE WHEN PURCHASING ON OUR WEBSITE

TRY YOUR MIIEGO PRODUCT - YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO GET USED TO EXCELLENT SOUND AND COMFORT

It can be difficult to choose correctly. Therefore, we have introduced a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on purchases made on MIIEGO's website. This allows you to freely try the products at home and have ample opportunity to see if they suit you.

Sound, fit and comfort are crucial for your performance. At MIIEGO, we care about precisely that. To ensure that you buy the right product, you can therefore try any MIIEGO product, accessories excluded, for 30 days - and if you are not 100% satisfied, we will gladly exchange it with a smile.

• If you wish to return your product, simply write to us within 30 days from the date of purchase. Thereafter, you must submit your product and your purchase receipt to us. Once we have received your product back, you can freely choose another product from our range at the same price, or alternatively choose to have a gift voucher/credit note issued for the amount for our website. It's easy! - however, the product must be in a clean and tidy condition and not be damaged when you send it back to us. You must also remember to include the product's original packaging (incl. all accessories) in intact condition. If the packaging is not included or is not intact/complete, a depreciation fee of DKK 150 will be deducted.
• If you wish to upgrade your purchase to a more expensive product, you only need to pay the difference between your original purchase and your new product choice.
• If your new product choice costs less, you can buy other MIIEGO products for the difference or have the remaining amount issued on a gift voucher for our website.
• Shipping costs in connection with returns and redemption of the satisfaction guarantee are borne by you as the customer.

The 30-day trial period applies to all MIIEGO products except accessories.

Please note that our satisfaction guarantee only applies to MIIEGO products purchased directly from us via MIIEGO's website www.miiego.dk. Other MIIEGO retailers may have different rules and arrangements.

5. DELIVERY

Normally, all orders will be processed and leave our Danish warehouse within 1-2 business days after order placement. However, during campaigns, holidays and peak season, delivery times may be slightly longer.

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive package information via e-mail in the form of a package number and Track n' Trace link, allowing you to track your shipment. MIIEGO assumes no responsibility for any delays due to weather conditions, strikes, problems with package distributors or third-party logistics.

Returns

As a customer at MIIEGO, you have a 30-day full right of return to return and cancel your order when shopping on MIIEGO.com. The right of withdrawal begins from the day you receive the item. Should you wish to cancel your purchase, please contact us at support@miiego.com before returning the item.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to accept the item without also notifying us. Should the purchase be cancelled within 30 days, we will refund the entire purchase price (this does not apply to extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different delivery method than the cheapest form of standard delivery we offer) provided the following conditions are met.

Note: as a customer, you bear all costs associated with returns.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us that you wish to cancel no later than 30 days after receiving your order. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

Uncollected items in a parcel shop are NOT considered returns, but the customer will receive an invoice for return shipping and can choose to have the package sent again upon payment of a new shipping fee. All costs of returning the item to MIIEGO are borne by the consumer. There is no right of withdrawal for businesses.
Use of a MIIEGO return label costs DKK 59, which is automatically deducted when you receive your refund from us.

The right to cancel a purchase and receive a full refund of the purchase price can only be exercised and accommodated if the item is returned in the same condition as received. This presupposes that the item still appears new so that it can be resold. This also includes intact, complete, and undamaged packaging, as the original packaging is an essential part of the product's value. Therefore, always take extra good care of the original packaging in case you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal. Missing or damaged original packaging leads to a deterioration in resale value. If the packaging is not included or is not intact/complete, a depreciation fee of DKK 150 will be deducted (for original packaging).

If the item has otherwise lost value, and this is due to you having used it in a way other than what was necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and function of the item, you can only get a partial refund of the purchase amount. Alternatively, you can make use of our Satisfaction Guarantee scheme. The amount you can get back by using the right of return depends on the commercial value of the item.

If you cancel your purchase, the purchase amount will be returned and credited to the same payment method/credit card you used when placing the order, unless we have agreed otherwise. The amount will be returned within 5 business days after we have received the returned product and confirmed that it complies with the rules for order cancellation.

Remember to enclose a copy of the invoice or order confirmation when returning the product to us. You are responsible for sending returned items back to us. Therefore, remember to save the postal/delivery receipt as documentation that the item has been sent to us. Please note – we do not accept packages sent to parcel shops, cash on delivery or similar. Any questions should be directed to MIIEGO customer service.

Please note that products purchased from one of our MIIEGO retailers must be returned to the same retailer where you originally purchased the product according to their sales terms.

6. COMPLAINTS AND WARRANTY - DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BUSINESS PURCHASES AND CONSUMER PURCHASES

RIGHT TO COMPLAIN AND WARRANTY FOR COMPANY GIFTS AND COMPANY CHRISTMAS GIFTS VIA EXTERNAL RETAILER (BUSINESS PURCHASE):

If you have received your product as a company gift or company Christmas gift, you must contact your retailer directly for clarification and questions regarding complaints, as the retailer provides support and guarantees, etc.

Please note that in this case, it is not a normal private/consumer purchase. Instead, it is a business sale (b2b sale) between two businesses on specially agreed terms, which means that the normal provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act for consumer purchases do not apply.

Most gift retailers who conduct business sales in Denmark typically provide up to 12 months' right to complain for b2b gift products, but this may vary, and we therefore recommend that you contact your gift retailer/supplier directly and check what complaint terms and conditions for business sales apply to them. This applies to both the right of withdrawal and the right to complain/warranty for company gifts and company Christmas gifts.

MIIEGO A/S unfortunately cannot disclose which gift retailer a specific product may have been purchased from. MIIEGO A/S does not offer exchange or return of products purchased/received via gift retailers. MIIEGO A/S cannot be held responsible for returns or complaints, including return shipping, concerning business purchases and company gifts/company Christmas gifts.

RIGHT TO COMPLAIN AND WARRANTY FOR CONSUMER PURCHASES DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE:

For private/consumer purchases directly on our website, you have a 24-month right to complain, which means that within this period, for a legitimate complaint submitted in time, you can either have your product repaired, replaced, or have the price reduced or get your money back depending on the specific situation. Initially, we will always try to help you by repairing or replacing your product, provided it is covered by the right to complain.

The right to complain covers manufacturing and material defects that are found during the product's normal use.

The right to complain does not cover faults, damages, or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation, poor maintenance, damage, violence, or unauthorized interventions. If your item has been dropped, exposed to strong sunlight, cold, or otherwise damaged, this is also not covered by the right to complain.

Nor does normal wear and tear of your product, when it has been in use, is covered.

The right to complain does not cover consumables that are expected to wear out as a result of correct use over time. Read more about built-in batteries below.

For a complaint to be valid, you must complain as soon as possible and within a reasonable time after you have discovered an error, otherwise the right to complain will lapse. Here, a maximum of two months is considered a reasonable time unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you complain about defects in a product between 12-24 months after the purchase, according to the Sale of Goods Act, it is generally up to you to prove that the manufacturer/seller is responsible for the defect. This does not mean that you have to perform a technical examination of the item - but you must make it plausible that the defect is not due to you having used the item incorrectly or otherwise acted incorrectly.

Please note that complaints about products purchased from one of our MIIEGO retailers must be handled by the same retailer where you originally purchased the product. Be sure to keep your receipt, as this is your proof of purchase and warranty.

For items purchased directly on our website, we need the following information if you wish to return an item to us:
Please contact us at support@miiego.com before returning a product. When returning a product, always enclose the invoice, your updated contact information, and a detailed description of the error.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

The Privacy Policy section describes the data security practices of MIIEGO A/S (hereinafter referred to as MIIEGO). MIIEGO provides services to users worldwide based on a distributor/retail distribution model. MIIEGO is the data controller for all data collected via miiego.com, unless it concerns another country represented by a local MIIEGO distributor, and you use the local MIIEGO distributor to access our products and services [1]. Here, the local distributor listed as the administrator of the website in question is responsible for your data.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Our described privacy policy applies to the information we collect and use about you when you:

• Use the MIIEGO.com website (including local and regional websites – miiego.se and miiego.nl to a limited extent [2]),
• Purchase products on MIIEGO.com (including miiego.se and miiego.nl to a limited extent [3]),
• Interact with our international SoMe accounts on Facebook and Instagram (MIIEGO and MIIEGOSPORT),
• Contact us at support@miiego.com or +45 70 277 887 to initiate a procedure regarding potential claims for compensation.
• Contact MIIEGO directly regarding potential business collaboration (via phone, email), including at special events (exchange of business cards and similar)[4]

We collectively refer to the aforementioned products and services as "Services".

We obtain information about you through the channels discussed below when providing Services. Please note that we need certain types of information in order to provide Services to you. If you do not provide us with such information, or you ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access or use our Services.

Information you provide us

MIIEGO collects a variety of information that you provide directly to us, such as:

• Processing of your order,
• Requests or questions you send to us via online forms or email,
• Your communication and general interaction with us (including on our websites, at special events, via phone, on third-party social media, or via email)
• Uploads or posts to the various Services.
• Requests for customer support and technical assistance.

While some of the Services may not require you to provide information that can directly identify you by name, certain Services depend on the specific types of information we collect regarding which Services you use, how you use them, and what you choose to provide. The types of data we collect directly from you include:

• Name, address, phone number, and email address (and company name, address, contact information, and other company details [5])
• Billing information, such as shipping address, credit or debit card number, verification number, and expiration date,
• Information about purchases or other transactions with us,
• Information about your customer service and maintenance interactions with us,
• Demographic information, such as your gender,
• User-generated content you post under #miiego or #TeamMIIEGO (e.g., MIIEGO Social Media Community)
• Any other information you choose to provide directly to MIIEGO in connection with your use of the Services,
• Information about others. If you request that your MIIEGO purchase be shipped to someone other than yourself (e.g., as a gift recipient), we will use the information you provide about that other person to fulfill the shipment.

Information we collect via automated channels

When you use our Services, we collect certain information as described in this section. As described below, we and our service providers (who are third-party companies working on our behalf – e.g., marketing agencies, etc.) may use various technologies, including cookies and similar tools, to help collect this information.

• Website: When you use our website, we collect and analyze information such as your IP address, browser type, browser language, operating system, region or the country from which you access the Services, software and hardware attributes (including device ID), pages you are referred from, exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, files you download, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of these pages, how much time is spent on certain pages, the terms you use in searches on our websites, date and time when you used the Services, and upload or download, log file and/or login errors and similar information.

Information we collect via social media and other platforms

• Social media and other platforms: If you access the Services via a third-party connection or login (e.g., via a social network), you may have given us access to store certain information from your social network profile. This includes your name, gender, profile picture, your “Likes” and check-ins, and your list of friends, depending on your settings on such platforms. If you do not wish to have this information shared, you should not use a social network connection to access the Services. For a description of how social networking sites handle your information, please refer to their privacy policies and terms of use, which also allow you to change your personal information.

When you “Like” or “Follow” us on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media, we may collect certain information from and about you, including your name, email address, and any comments or content you post relevant to us. We also collect your information if you sign up for one of our campaigns or send us information via social media.

Information we collect from others

• MIIEGO may receive additional information, such as demographic and statistical information from a third party, such as business partners, marketers, researchers, analysts, and other parties with whom we may share your information, based on your information type in relation to specific statistical groups. We use this information to supplement the information we collect directly from you, to get an idea of your possible interests and relevant experiences you have with MIIEGO, as well as to improve MIIEGO products, analytics, and advertising.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

MIIEGO and/or our service providers use your information (including all information we collect as described in the Privacy Policy section) for various purposes – depending on the types of information we have collected and where the information originates from.

Generally, we use your information for the following purposes:

• Completion of a purchase, including invoicing and accounting,
• Responding to and handling your customer service request,
• To provide you with information about products you have purchased from us,
• Contacting you via email, mail, or phone regarding MIIEGO products and/or offering other Services that may be of interest to you [6],

Combined information. For the purposes discussed in the Privacy Policy section, we may combine the information we collect via the Services with the information we receive from other sources, both online and offline, and use such combined information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Aggregate/Anonymous Data. We aggregate and/or anonymize all information collected via the Services so that such information can no longer be linked to you. We may use Aggregate/Anonymous Information for any given purpose, including without limitation for research and marketing purposes, and may also share such data with third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners, and sponsors.

LEGAL BASIS FOR THE USE OF YOUR DATA

The legal basis for using your information, as described here in the Privacy Policy section, is as follows:

• Where the use of your information is necessary to fulfill our obligations under a contract with you (for example, to comply with: Terms of Service on our websites, which you accept by browsing the websites / accepting this privacy policy / making a purchase);
• Where the use of your information is necessary in relation to our legitimate interests, or other legitimate interests (for example, to provide security for our websites, products, operate our business and our Services, make and receive payments, comply with legal requirements and defend our legal rights, prevent fraud, and in relation to knowing the customer to whom we provide Services).

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

In order to collect the information mentioned in the section above, we and our service providers use internet server log files, cookies, tags, SDKs, tracking pixels, and other similar tracking technologies. We use these technologies to offer you a more tailored experience in the future by understanding and remembering your specific browser preferences.

ONLINE ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING

Analytics

• We use third-party web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) on our services to collect and analyze usage information via cookies and similar tools; in relation to auditing, research or reporting, and assisting in fraud prevention, as well as providing certain functions to you. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information to analyze your information, you may be able to install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on by clicking here
• If you receive emails (newsletters) from us, we may use certain analytical tools to collect data. For example, when you open our email or click on links or banners that our email contains. This data allows us to measure the effectiveness of our communication and marketing campaigns.

Online Advertising

• The Services may integrate third-party advertising technologies that enable the delivery of relevant content and advertising on the Services, as well as on other websites you visit and other applications you use. Ads may be based on various factors, e.g., the content of the page you are visiting, information you enter, your age and gender, your searches, demographic data, user-generated content, and other information we collect from you. These ads may be based on your current activity or your activity over time and across other websites and online services, and may be tailored to your interests.
• Third parties whose products or services are available or advertised through the Services may also place cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device to collect information about you, as described above. MIIEGO also allows other third parties (e.g., ad networks and ad servers like Google Analytics, Facebook, and others) to display tailored ads to you on social media, other websites, and in other applications, and to access their own cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device that you use to access the Services.
• We do not have access to, nor do privacy policy guidelines regulate, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies that may be placed on your device, which you use to access the Services by non-affiliated third parties. If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being set on your computer to deliver tailored advertising, you can visit the Consumer Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out link, the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link, or check your online choices to opt-out of receiving tailored advertising from companies participating in these programs. * Please note that if you adjust your settings regarding the opt-out options described above, you will still see advertising when you use the Services, but it will not be tailored to you based on your online behavior measured over time.

Mobile Advertising

When you use mobile applications, you may also receive tailored ads within the application. We may use third-party service providers to deliver ads on mobile applications or for mobile application analytics. Each operating system, iOS for Apple phones, Android for Android devices, and Windows for Microsoft devices, includes its own instructions on how to prevent the delivery of tailored ads within the application. We do not control how the applicable platform operator allows you to control the receipt of personalized ads in applications; therefore, you should contact the platform provider for more information on opting out of tailored ads. You can review the support materials and/or device settings for the respective operating systems to opt out of customized in-app ads.

HOW WE SHARE AND PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

MIIEGO may share your information in the following ways:

Distributors.

We may share information we collect with our MIIEGO business partners (e.g., MIIEGO distributors) to provide you with products and services, to ensure a consistent service level across our products and services, and to improve our products, services, and your customer experience.

Service Providers.

We provide access to, or share your information with, selected third parties who perform services and/or maintenance on our behalf. They have access to perform these services but are prohibited from using your information for other purposes. They provide a wide range of services to us, including billing, sales, marketing, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, shipping and follow-up, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, and legal services. Such parties currently include delivery providers such as Pakkelabels.dk and their delivery providers such as GLS, PostNord, DAO, etc.

Protection of MIIEGO and others.

We may use information collected in connection with monitoring our websites, online services, and emails to protect you, our employees, and our partners. This information may be sent to the police or other relevant authorities if necessary. By using our websites and online services, you expressly agree to this.

Business Agreements.

As we continue to develop our business, we may acquire, merge with, or partner with other companies. In such transactions (including in contemplation of such transactions), user information may be among the transferred assets. If all or part of MIIEGO's assets are sold or transferred to a third party, customer information (including your email address) will likely be one of the transferred business assets. If such transfer is subject to further mandatory restrictions under applicable laws, MIIEGO will comply with such restrictions at all times.

In the public domain.

Certain features of our Services allow you to publicly share comments with other users. Any information you submit through such features is not confidential, and MIIEGO may use it for any purpose (including in testimonials or other marketing materials). For example, if you post a product review on one of our Social Media accounts, we may display your review (along with any name provided) on other MIIEGO websites and on third-party websites. Any information you openly submit in these ways will be accessible to the public as a whole and potentially accessible through third-party search engines.

STORAGE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We store your information for no longer than strictly necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. How long we retain it depends on the purposes for which we collected and used it, and/or as required to comply with applicable laws.

You have certain rights regarding your information, as described in more detail in this section.

Access to your information and your legal rights

If you would like a copy of the personal information we hold about you in our customer databases, please contact us using the information in the "Contact us" section below. You may be asked to provide proof of identification so that we can verify that you are the one making the request.

This is in addition to your legal rights, including the right to access a copy of your personal information, the right to request erasure or update of any inaccurate personal data, and the right in some cases to object to our processing of your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the information in the "Contact us" section below.

If you are concerned that your legal rights or applicable privacy legislation are not being complied with, you also always have the option to contact your local data protection authority.

Marketing, communication and sharing

You have the option to request that we do not use your contact information, e.g., to contact you via email and/or phone about products, services, promotions, and special events that may appeal to your interests, by contacting us using the information below. You can also opt out of commercial emails (e.g., newsletters) by following the instructions at the bottom of such emails. Please note that, regardless of your request, we may still use and share certain information as permitted under the privacy policy section, or as required by applicable law. For example, you cannot opt out of certain operational emails (automatic order confirmation, customer service emails, etc.).

Cross-device tracking / Tracking Opt-Out

If you wish to opt out of cross-device tracking in relation to interest-based advertising, you can do so via your Android or Apple device-based settings.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND FEATURES

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, such as social media, and also include third-party plug-ins (e.g., the Facebook "Like" button and the Instagram "Follow" button) and other functionalities. If you choose to use these websites and/or features, you may share your information with these third parties, as well as with their users, and publicly, depending on how their services operate. MIIEGO is not responsible for the content or practices of these websites or services.
