René Holten skærer gennem vandet mod Verdensmesterskabet i kajak sprint

When 32-year-old kayaker René Holten Poulsen takes to the water at Bagsværd Lake on September 17, 2021, it will be to compete in the World Championship in kayak sprint – for the 11th time. His track record includes an impressive 24 medals from European Championships, World Championships, and Olympic Games, as well as awards such as Athlete of the Year.

René Holten Poulsen's nickname in the sports industry is "Powerhouse Poulsen", and there is no doubt that he is a man of both strength and immense will. Not only is he physically strong and capable of great endurance, but his personality has also been strengthened by many years as a professional kayaker. It takes great perseverance, dedication, and character to get in the boat, start, and give everything you have towards the finish line. But René Holten Poulsen does exactly that. For sport is, without a doubt, his great passion, and on the water, he is at home.

For the same reason, we at MIIEGO are incredibly proud to have René Holten Poulsen as an ambassador on our #teammiiego. We have the utmost respect and admiration for people who are so passionate about their sport and active lifestyle and strive to perform their best – whether in big or small endeavors.

I use MIIEGO because it is generally important in watersports for headphones to be waterproof. And the MiiBUDS ACTION II sit incredibly lightly on my ears. You move a lot on the water, but the ear hook means I don't have to worry about whether they are perfectly seated when I'm training. They just stay put!
