At MIIEGO, we are proud to announce that we have become the official audio partner and sponsor of the Danish Ultra National Team.
Ultra running is a term for organized runs and competitions over distances longer than a marathon. The minimum distance is usually 50 km, and the races can take place anywhere from tracks to roads or hilly terrain. In other words – these are tough, grueling, and incredibly exciting races that require great willpower and fantastic fitness.
At the beginning of 2022, the Danish Ultra National Team consists of 23 skilled runners, all passionate about long distances. In 2022, the runners on the Ultra National Team will, among other things, participate and compete nationally and internationally in 50 km, 100 km, and 24-hour races.
An obvious match
For MIIEGO, sponsoring the Ultra National Team is the start of an obvious partnership. MIIEGO's Partnership Manager, Henrik Østergaard, explains it this way: "Although it is a niche sport in the big global sports world, at MIIEGO we want to help acknowledge the great work done by the Danish Ultra National Team. The Danish Ultra National Team agrees with this. Peter Lund Torjussen, a representative for the Ultra National Team, says that for their organization, there is something truly unique about having a partner who shares common values.
"One of our most striking common traits is our love for sports and especially running. We are both ambitious organizations and want to be among the best – but always with a team focus and a belief that together we can go further," elaborates Peter Lund Torjussen.
He also sees the collaboration as a step towards strengthening the sport. Peter Lund Torjussen says: "I see great and exciting opportunities in this collaboration.
